Epoxy plated – Water resistant
Epoxy plated rectangle neodymium magnets N35, a.k.a. rare earth magnets are ideal for outdoor usage where it is exposed to rain or wet environment. This black epoxy plating offers better water and humid resistant compared to similar Nickel-Copper-Nickel plated neodymium magnets.
3M VHB Adhesive Facing Paired
The 3M adhesive is applied on the North of one piece and on the South of the other, hence they are facing paired.
This means that you can use the magnets in more ways!
1) Magnet to Magnet attachment
Stick each of the 2 pieces adhesive side on to 2 pieces of non-ferrous surfaces eg.. acrylic, aluminum, glass, tiles etc..
and both these non-ferrous sheet can be magnetically attached together instead of repelled.
If these 2 pcs are not facing paired, this attachment will not be possible
2) Magnet to Metal attachment
Stick one or both pieces (adhesive side) on to the same non-ferrous surface eg.. acrylic, aluminum, glass, tiles etc..
You can then magnetically attach the magnetic side on to any metal surfaces.
For magnet to metal attachment, facing pair polarity is irrelevant, both north or south of a magnet will attach to metal surface.
