Small and strong square shaped magnets measuring 10x10x5mm, grade N35.
These little square neodymium magnets are mini-me version of our monstrous N52 “Kraken” magnet in terms of proportion.
With a thickness of 5mm, it is relatively stronger than most of the 1-3mm thick magnets in our range. It is also easier to push around on a metal surface despite its stronger pull force as you have 5mm of grip, which means you’ll not be resorting to pushing these magnets with your fingernails 🙂
Although these magnets may look small, beware… as it can pinch fingers and slamming 2 pieces together will likely result in some chipped edges or breakage of these neodymium magnets. They are strong in magnetic field force but brittle in terms of material.
Most customer misunderstood that neodymium magnets are made from solid piece of metal. Facts: Neodymium magnets are sintered from a powdered composition of Neodymium (Nd), Iron (Fe) and Boron (B), the resulting solid shape are triple plated with Nickle Copper Nickle to protect it from corrosion. Hence drilling or cutting neodymium magnets will damage the magnet.
