These tiny neodymium magnets (also know as Rare Earth Magnets) are great for hobby and miniature craft.
Triple coated with Nickle Copper Nickle for extra durability and protection against rust and corrosion.
Although small in size, N52 grade neodymium magnets is relatively stronger (up to 17% stronger gauss) than a similar size (of the same diameter and thickness) N35 grade neodymium magnets. This means that this might possibly be the strongest magnet you can get at this size. With it’s small size, these tiny 5mm diameter magnets can be easily positioned or hidden in objects and tight places.
Gauss Strength of Size and Grade:
The Size and Thickness of a neodymium determines the strength more than Grade.
Eg. A D6x2mm Grade N35 will have a stronger magnetic gauss strength than a D5x1mm Grade N52 simply because of the size and thickness are larger.
Grade is important only when comparing 2 neodymium magnets of exactly the same size and thickness but different Grade.
Eg. A D5x2mm Grade N52 will have a stronger magnetic gauss strength than a D5x2mm Grade N35 (in this case up to 17% stronger gauss)
